The event takes place on the north side of Bierderbeck Dr, on the showgrounds west of the Centennial Bridge and LeClaire Park, Davenport, Iowa. Next to but not in the Mississippi River . Enjoy powerhouse bands 'till midnight each night! The event also features food and vendor booths. Many new vendors will help complete the perfect setting for a perfect weekend.

FINCH'S CUSTOM STYLED CYCLES AT STURGIS 2008

Ron Finch is a multi-talented artist. He is known world-wide for his outrageous custom motorcycles and his mastery of color and design in paint. METALife is Ron's most recent venture. He brings metal to life by sculpting found metal to create creatures, plants and even a giant motorcycle.  Stop by Ron's tent and see his artwork. 

Finicky is a 93 inch Shovelhead with a Baker Drivetrain 6 speed. It was named Finicky because of all the fins that were added to enhance the look of the motor. It was unveiled to the public at the Easyriders show in Colombus, Ohio. Ron's creation are often not identical on both sides. This particular creation is painted in different colors on each side. It is another stunning artistical creation by Finch.
